The relationship analogy

When you are new at this, when you haven't learned the working of things. You stop anything and everything that comes your way, agree for the most insane of offers and jump right in.

But, when you are burnt a few times. You wait for the ones which seem fair and suit your wants. So you wait- stop a few and try to win them over. Sometimes even try and overpower. And finally, when you do find one that sounds fair and within your budget- you get right in. And thank god that today, you got a rickshaw to go your way.

So relationships in my city is pretty much like getting a rickshaw to go to where you wanna go. It's time consuming, a lil frustrating and a whole lotta negotiating. The only difference being, at the end of a relationship you don't pay the person and say thank you. ;)

I agree with your analogy! Relationships get difficult over time and it tends to center around 'waiting. But there is hope. Once you get done with that stage, it's a liitle different but waaaay better than before.

Advice duly noted. Thank you Pete! :)

How's the waiting going? :)

Taking this forward, are committed relationships all about endlessly driving your auto?
